I am a recent graduate looking to start my life in Advertising, but first I need to find a partner, a New to my York, a light to my fag, a creative partner to bounce ideas around with.
I was top of my class at Uni and am willing to work my rainbow toe socks off again to make it in this industry. So if your lonely, ready to knuckle down and give this a shot, I need you.
I plan to fill this blog with my crazy ideas for adverts, shops, products, clothing, and of course my honest, and often brutal opinions.

Good luck with everything, but all the people who I know who got jobs came bottom in their uni's because they were so progressive. If you're doing well you're adhering to the marking system i.e. treading the well trodden road, and there are already people out there doing that. And they've been doing it for longer.
So start some fires and quick, be prepared to have some glorious failures. In my 2 years of working in advertising no-one has ever asked me for my grade. Get your work up on this here site and we'll see if you cut the mustard now you're no longer a student :)

Thanks for your words, you make a lot of sense. I kinda knew my grades wouldn't be enough, but I like to think they meant something, if only just for me.
The years to come will invite plenty of glorious failures I'm sure, so call me a twisted firestarter from now on. Just not in front of the police/ my nan.

Hats off to you for being proud of your achievement at uni. Agreed, it doesn't count for much as it's the quality of the work you produce, but to have been top of the class means you're dedicated and work hard - all good things for a creative!
Plus from the comments of your's which I've seen dotted around the blogs, you seem like a cool guy (excuse the 90's expression) and like you'd have the gift of the gab - another good thing!
